This work experience programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers that are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme. Your eligibility for this programme will have to be verified by the Department as part of the application process.



Job Description

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form. We are currently have availability two participants to join our HR team on a work placement experience program basis in Beaumont Lodge Transitional Care Unit, Kilmore Road, Dublin 5. Previous experience is not necessary, the participants will have an opportunity to learn how to: - Draft official communication. - Handle request and queries in a professional manner . - Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence - Manage diary and schedule meetings/appointments - Make travel arrangements - Take minutes - Source office supplies


Role Description

This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. Formal Training: - Microsoft Office suite - Office 365 - GDPR Awareness - Managing under pressure - Time and priority management - Fire safety - Manual handling - Safeguarding Informal Training: - HR Administration - Teamwork - Communication Skills
