Work Placement Experience Programme - HR Support Assistant

This work experience programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers that are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme. Your eligibility for this programme will have to be verified by the Department as part of the application process. If you are in receipt of the Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) you will be required to transfer to a Jobseekers payment in order to participate on the programme.

Job Description

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form. HR Support Assistant will gain experience while assisting with: -Design and implementation of Advertising solutions of the Vacancies -Delivery of all recruitment activities inclusive of the onboarding procedures -Utilisation of social media, contacts and online methods for the purpose of attracting candidates for key positions such as Healthcare Assistants, Staff Nurses, Housekeeping Team and for all roles as required. -Conducting interviews as required inclusive of Teams, Zoom and Skype. -Assist with management of the Recruitment Tracker providing up-to-date information in reference to all recruitment activity to the HR Manager -Sourcing, Adaptation and Management of Online Induction and Training Platforms. -Conducting of audits and reports related to employee data, SMT, Training, Compliance and HIQA Mock audits. -Assist with ensuring Bartra Healthcare compliance to Irish employment legislation and handling complex issues and escalated activities. -Supporting of successful delivery of operational processes and creating a positive employee experience across the full employee life cycle. -Support the delivery of Bartra Healthcare HR projects. -Identifying improvement opportunities by developing and using HR metrics analysis, develop and drive the delivery of the employee needs. -Supporting internal communication initiatives with the senior management team. -Assist with the Recruitment Process to ensure an effective and compliant recruitment process is completed, making any and all improvements where necessary to build a talent pipeline as per business needs. -GDPR compliance. -Support senior management in headcount and projection planning. -Assist with any other duties as may be required from time to time Benefits for WPEP participant: -Career Development and Progression -Training and Education Support -Partly subsidised lunch scheme -Free staff parking -Excellent opportunities for career development

Role Description

This is a training and work experience opportunity, no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection.
