Work Placement Experience Programme - Digital Marketing Executive

This work experience programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers that are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme. Your eligibility for this programme will have to be verified by the Department as part of the application process.

Job Description

You will gain experience in the following areas: -Creating, managing and optimising conversion-driven campaigns across a range of platforms including Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tiktok for multiple clients. Developing and pitching organic and paid social media strategies for new and existing clients. -Creative content generation, graphic templates, content calendar management and post scheduling. -Creating Graphics for Social Media posts using tools such as Canva. -Collaborating with our designer to produce creatives for campaigns. -Establishing targets and managing budgets. -Analysing data and trends in order to create meaningful insights for our clients. -Implementing solutions, tracking performance, and optimising campaigns based on our client's goals. -Reporting to senior management and clients on key performance indicators and value delivered for our customers. -Proactively keeping up to date with new developments in Social Media Marketing such as Tik Tok and actively researching, testing and proposing new approaches. -Regular communication with existing customers to help meet their marketing objectives, demonstrate value and review results. -Develop strong, friendly, lasting client relationships with existing customers.

Role Description

This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP.
