Job Title: Home Care Assistant Contract Type: Flexible hours including weekend work Purpose: A professional Home Care Assistant is a trained non-medical professional that looks after a person, or persons, in their own home with the primary role being to improve their quality of care. Essential Requirements
QQI/Fetac Level 5 Care Skills and Care of the Elderly Modules with a commitment to complete the full QQI / Fetac Level 5 in Healthcare within 12 months of commencement of employment.
Fluent English.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Previous experience in caring in the home setting.
3. Job Title: Meals on Wheels Kitchen / Delivery Assistant Contract Type: Part time, 20hrs per week Job Purpose: Our Meals on Wheels service was established to support people in the community who were experiencing difficulty in preparing a main meal for themselves each day. The meals are prepared and cooked by our professionally trained chef and kitchen team at our premises in Tallaght, Dublin. This role will support the continued development and expansion of this valuable service. Essential Requirements
HACCP qualification is essential
Must be available to work 5 days per week (Mon-Fri) 11am – 2pm
4. Job Title: Senior Care Worker, Day Centre Contract Type: Part time / 27 ½ hrs per week Purpose The purpose of this role is to assist our Clinical Nurse Manager, being our Day Centre Manager in their professional and administrative duties; to ensure that standards are maintained; and that adequate cover is provided to ensure the smooth running of our Day Centre. Essential Requirements
Full QQI Level 5 Healthcare Award.
2-3 years previous experience in a Day Care / Residential Setting.
Experience of leading a care team
Fluent English.
Must be available to work 5 days per week, Mon-Fri.
