The Social Democrats are inviting applications for the post of Office Administrator based in Dublin 2, with the opportunity for some remote working. The position is a full-time, fixed term position for a maximum of 2 years (Until the next General Election). The position will report to the General Secretary. Responsibilities Our office administrator will be expected to
Act as the main point of contact for callers and inquiries (including email).
Maintain the membership database.
Manage our email communications lists.
Process invoices on a monthly basis and keep financial records updated.
Support the monthly bank reconciliation process.
Compile the Party newsletter, on a monthly basis.
Support Party meetings and events by booking venues, ordering and preparing printing and other materials, liaising with suppliers and third parties, etc.
Maintain the website, including updates, new candidates, press releases etc.
Perform other ad hoc accounting and office duties as and when required
Point of contact for external contractors and vendors.
We are looking for a candidate with
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Work, Excel & Outlook)
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative position.
Professional, flexible attitude, with a strong work ethic and proven reliability in previous roles.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Experience of using WordPress.
An outstanding candidate will also have:
Exceptional IT skills
Experience in social media/digital marketing/graphic design.
