
Job Profile The General Service Board of Alcoholics Anonymous in Ireland CLG (GSBAA) is seeking an Office Administrator to join our General Service Office Team. You will work with an administrative team in the General Service Office who collectively manage daily operational services on behalf of the GSBAA. Multitasking, confidentially and the ability to skilfully handle the unexpected are essential qualities to bring to the role. Job Description Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Manage product purchasing & sales orders
Manage product stock levels
Assist the office team to optimise & develop processes
Update electronic filing systems to ensure accuracy and validity of information
Manage inventory of office supplies and printing
Assist with company correspondence
Perform Reception type duties
Support the team in maintaining office systems and data management
Report to the designated line management
Participate in upskilling and development
Job Specification Essential skills or experience:
Minimum of 5 years proven administration experience
Be proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to learn new software and systems
Have excellent organisational, prioritising and time management skills
Proven problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands
Demonstrated relationship management skills and experience working in a supportive manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
Ability to manage deadlines and effectively manage multiple tasks
Possess strong team working skills along with the ability to work on your own initiative
Ability to deal with sensitive issues
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Desirable skills or experience:
Experience working in a not-for-profit organisation
Experience in Salesforce CRM an advantage
Knowledge of Sage software an advantage
Knowledge and general understanding of organisational policies and regulations such as GDPR, Health and Safety etc
