
Finance Assistant – Part Time Spirasi is an NGO that provides holistic rehabilitation services to survivors of torture and their families who are seeking international protection or are refugees. We want to recruit a Finance Assistant to support the critical work of finance within the organization. Person Specification Essential:
NFQ level 6 (or higher) qualification in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Work experience as a Finance Assistant, Account Administrator, or similar role
Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
Excellent IT skills including Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero)
Organizational and time-management skills and ability to take initiative
Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
Able to work effectively as part of multi-disciplinary team and independently.
Good sense of self care
Able to speak, read and write English to IELTS Level 8 (Expert User)
A suitable workspace if working remotely
Desirable:
Proficiency in a second and/or other languages
Experience in working in a multidisciplinary health care setting
Experience of working with people seeking international protection and from refugee backgrounds, culturally aware
