POSITION: ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – FULL TIME POSITION Sonas Domestic Violence Charity are the largest provider of frontline domestic abuse support services to women and children experiencing domestic violence in Ireland and have been providing this service for 30 years. The Service supports over 1,250 women and children each year and currently operate across the greater Dublin Region. Sonas provides 51 units across the greater Dublin area consisting of Refuge units, Safe Homes, and Transitional Housing for women and children who are forced to leave their homes as result of domestic abuse. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team to assist our Finance Manager within Sonas and ensure the highest of financial standards. Applicants for this position must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. They will have a thorough knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the compilation of accounts, payroll, and general logistics, with excellent MS Office, IT skills and computerised financial and accounting systems experience. The successful candidate combining their financial expertise and a passion for excellence will be responsible for assisting and administering the day-to-day financial operations within Sonas. In addition, the successful candidate will have an unwavering dedication to accuracy, excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills together with the ability to work on their own initiative, multi-task and prioritise their workload. A full clean driving licence and access to a car is required after 6 months of working with Sonas. Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience and will be discussed at interview.
