
Description Of Business Unit New Ireland Assurance is responsible for the administration of all New Ireland Assurance and Bank of Ireland Life's Individual and Group business. Our focus is on delivering outstanding service and ensuring that the highest quality and control standards are maintained at all times. Purpose Of Role To efficiently and compliantly on board New Business Applications. This role will support the Team Leader by providing support and mentorship across the New Business Team. Key Accountabilities
Administration of Protection, Pensions and Investments new business policies
Issuing policies in a timely and accurate manner
Adherence to service level agreements and compliance requirements.
Crafting and maintaining strong working relationships with our customers and internal colleagues
Consistently demonstrates outstanding professional behaviours e.g. maturity, flexibility and positivity
Track record of positive engagement with NB change initiatives
Demonstrates outstanding product and industry knowledge
High level of engagement in department and company initiatives
Supports Team Leader in management of day-to-day business issues and queue management and deputise effectively for them in their absence
Capable of representing new business in workshops/projects/meetings/presentations
Resolves customer issues and raised cases without TL intervention
Acts as a mentor for less experienced team members
