Highly Experienced Retail Assistant The successful candidate should have the following knowledge and experience:
Previous experience working as a supervisor/assistant to the manager.
Background in retail sales, preferably footwear and clothing (minimum 1 year previous experience).
Customer focused and driven to achieve high volumes of sales.
Willingness to work part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work off own initiative.
2 years Keyholding experience (minimum).
Replenish retail floor with stock in the morning at opening, in the evening before closing, and any stock that requires re-stocking throughout the day.
Operating the tills; cash handling; ringing the tills off at the end of each day.
Being customer focused and driven to provide the best customer service.
Maintain cleanliness of retail floor.
Locate stock required for yourself and other staff members.
Knowledge of where all stock is kept/stored.
Make stock manager aware of any stock required/sold out stock.
