Retail Assistant Key Responsibilities:
Replenish retail floor with stock in the morning at opening, in the evening before closing, and any stock that requires re-stocking throughout the day.
Operating the tills; cash handling; ringing the tills off at the end of each day.
Achieving a large number of sales; being customer focused and driven to provide the best customer service.
Maintain cleanliness of retail floor and stock storage areas.
Locate stock required for yourself and other staff members.
Knowledge of where all stock is kept/stored.
Make stock manager aware of any stock required/sold out stock.
Check in deliveries and bring stock to appropriate storage areas.
Ability to work off own initiative.
The successful candidate will have the following knowledge and experience:
Warehouse/manual handling experience
Customer focused and driven.
Willingness to co-operate with others to solve problems in a fast-moving environment.
A good working standard in numeracy, literacy and warehouse equipment/systems.
Good communication skills and a team player.
