Are you a super-efficient administrator with experience in assisting the purchasing and sales functions? Join an award-winning medical distributor for maternity cover (25-30 hrs) where there is the potential for a permanent role and career growth. About The Company Lynch Medical provide products and services to the Irish Healthcare sector from their headquarters in North County Dublin. They have won awards for excellence in the supply of medical services to the public sector, and distributor of the year. They now require a confident purchasing & sales administrator to cover a maternity period of up to 12 months. The company has experienced continuous growth over the years, so there is the potential for a permanent job in the future. About the job Your extensive knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures will mean you'll be comfortable coordinating material planning, purchasing and order scheduling to ensure timely delivery of products. This will require establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with LMS' existing and new suppliers. You'll also have the experience to analyse inventory, set and maintain the LMS planning system, and manage supplier shortages and delays. Another essential element of this role is supporting the sales process. You'll quickly get up to speed with the LMS product information and pricelists, as you'll be coordinating customer orders via data entry and communicating with the sales team and customers. This role would be an excellent grounding for a procurement/logistics graduate with previous experience or someone who has been out of the workplace for some time and wants to get back into that field of work. There will also be ad-hoc projects for you to get involved with, like software upgrades. The job is fully office-based, with free parking in the M1 Business Park, halfway between Drogheda and Swords.
