Pieta: Accounts Assistant

Pieta provide a range of counselling services for people who are suicidal, engage in self-harm or who are bereaved by suicide. Pieta also operate a national 24-hour helpline (1800 247 247) and a dedicated Education and Training office. We are committed to delivering our services with care and professionalism and continue to strive to ensure that we provide the best service for our clients. Pieta is seeking a full time Accounts Assistant to join their busy Finance team. The candidate will be based at Pieta Head Office located on Greenhills Road in Tallaght, Dublin 24 2xdays per week. Tuesdays are mandatory 'in office' days and there is flexibility in the role to work 3 days remotely each week. Location: Hybrid - 2 days per week based at Head Office, Tallaght , Dublin 24 & 3 days remote work each week Position Type: Full-time permanent contract // Working hours are Monday - Friday 9am-5pm Salary: €34,000 per annum Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier invoice coding including compliance with procurement policy

  • Supplier payment runs

  • New supplier setups

  • Income processing

  • Creditor reconciliations

  • Employee expenses processing

  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth running of department

  • Contribute to continuous improvements and ad hoc projects that may arise from time to time

Skills & Experience required:

  • Strong proficiency in Sage Line 50

  • 2 years' experience working in a Finance Function

  • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workload, and to reach and meet deadlines

  • IT skills with a working knowledge of MS Office

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative

  • Excellent relationship skills for collaboration with colleagues across the organisation
