Graduate Programme 2023 - ICT Operations **Closing Date for Applications: Monday 31 st October 2022** The Opportunity The NTMA is now offering an exciting opportunity for a talented graduate to join our ICT Department on a 24-month graduate programme, commencing in September 2023. This placement is open to graduates from business, commerce, finance, and management related degrees. The successful candidate will be working in the ICT Operations Team, within the Finance, Technology and Operations (FTO) Unit for the full duration of the programme. The Organisation The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) provides asset and liability management services to the Irish Government. It has evolved from a single function agency managing the National Debt to a manager of a complex portfolio of public assets and liabilities. Businesses managed by the NTMA include borrowing for the Exchequer and the management of the National Debt, the State Claims Agency, the New Economy and Recovery Authority ("NewERA"), the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and the National Development Finance Agency. The NTMA also assigns staff to the National Asset Management Agency ("NAMA"), the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland ("SBCI") and Home Building Finance Ireland ("HBFI") (together the "Associated Agencies"). The Team ICT Operations provides a range of ICT related services to NTMA business areas, including ICT ServiceDesk Support, Database Services, ICT infrastructure including management of in-house server and cloud solutions and services. We also provide Unified communications with our Cisco and Polycom environments and ICT security and Network services. The Role As a graduate employee, your responsibilities as part of the ServiceDesk Team will include:
Be accountable for issues and requests, provide helpful friendly support, and advice to resolve IT issues
Troubleshooting and provide level 1 and 2 support for users
Logging requests and incidents in the centralised IT ServiceDesk System
Troubleshooting and provide level 1 and 2 support for users
Develop and maintain the Service Support knowledgebase in addition to delivering outstanding customer service to the NTMA staff
Supporting the business needs to meet agreed SLAs
Identify and contribute to improvements in procedures, processes, and technologies
Monitor and communicate the escalation of incidents and problems
Contribute to SLA and IT Operational procedure enhancement
Manage the Joiners, Leavers and Movers process
