National Traveller Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) National Traveller MABS is the leading advocate for the financial inclusion of Travellers in Ireland. As a Traveller specific service, we advocate for the many Travellers in Ireland who cannot access affordable savings and credit and who rely on money lenders. We work to change policy and practice which excludes Travellers from financial services. We aim to increase financial capability within the Traveller Community. We work on issues of affordable accommodation and energy poverty. We wish to recruit an Administrator Fixed Term Contract until December 2022 (17.5 hrs per week) Key skills include strong, networking and communications skills including excellent written, oral, and IT skills. To be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Candidate must have an understanding of the causes and impact of social exclusion faced by Traveller or Disadvantaged groups. Experience of working within the Travellers or disadvantage community is desirable. This position is based in Finglas, currently there is hyrbrid working in place until the end of this year. As the organisation has a national profile, candidate, access to own transport is preferable but not essential Salary scale is currently €27,844 - €41,093 pro rata (including 2 long service increments). It is anticipated that new entrants to the MABS service will be appointed on the 1st point of the scale. Incremental credit, should it be awarded will be based on the information contained in the application for the post.
