Trinity College Dublin seeks to appoint an assistant in the **Library Shop** and Online Fulfillment areas. Library Shop staff are an integral part of the Library / Visitors Attractions team and often the first point of contact a visitor will have with the Library. The appointee will join the team responsible for serving the one million visitors to the Old Library and Book of Kells Exhibitions annually.

Post Status: 2 year fixed term contract

Salary: Appointment will be made on the Library Shop Assistant 3 Merged salary scale, weekly rate at a point in line with Government Pay Policy [€429.00 – €566.38 per week]. New entrants to the public sector will be placed on the 1st point of this scale.

Experience

• Prior work experience in retail, tourism related an advantage.

• Experience in dealing with customer queries in person, by phone and by email.

• A second language would be an advantage
