Liberties Training Centre, funded through the City of Dublin Education and Training Board, provides vocational training and education programmes to meet the needs of young people aged 16 to 21 from the local area who have left school early i.e., before Leaving Certificate and who are currently unemployed.
Our programmes are designed to enhance each learner’s opportunities to learn new skills and achieve the certification necessary for progression into employment or continued education. Liberties Training Centre is an equal opportunities employer.
The Board of Directors invites applications for suitably qualified innovative, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individuals for the position of:
Clerical Officer (Higher) - Community Training Centre
35 hours per week
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the ability to:
Operate and maintain financial and operational systems for the centre, including payroll.
Provide administrative support to the board, manager and staff.
Work with the manager and other staff to develop and implement learner recruitment, assessment and monitoring procedures.
Preparation of learner related documentation e.g. registration, extension, and termination forms.
Be responsible for the efficient organisation of office procedures, including ordering supplies, ensuring that centre equipment is maintained, etc.
Run the reception area of the centre efficiently.
Support the preparation of annual budgets and strategic plans and reviews.
The salary scale associated with the post is €21,382 to €39,496 which includes two long service increments. Liberties Training Centre offers an excellent pension, for the successful candidate.
