Legal Administrator-Part Time

Purpose of the Role

To provide administrative support to In-house Legal Counsel. Please note that this is a fixed term contract of 8 months.

This role is a part time 20hr fixed term contract for 8 months.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with administration Duties;

  • Scan and assign post

  • Filing ‐ File administration and ensuring all relevant documents on file.

  • Organise and maintain paper and electronic files;

  • Assist with Diary Management.

  • Assist with co-sec administration.

  • Co‐ordinating meetings and following up on next steps.

  • Maintaining trackers, registers and claim databases.

  • Generating Agenda and Minutes.

  • Providing full administrative support to the In House Legal Counsel and Legal Secretary

  • Designing, setting up and maintaining Excel Spreadsheets and Power Point Presentations.

  • General administration.

  • Cover Legal Secretary position during Legal Secretary’s holidays.

Key Skills Essential:

  • Experience of providing administrative support.

  • Good Administration essential.

  • Team player with legal office experience desired.

  • Experience in office management.

  • Confidentiality is an essential requirement.

  • Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent typing and attention to detail essential.

  • Flexible, reliable, highly organised and have a good work ethic.

  • Possess good inter‐personal skills,

  • Must be able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

  • Legal Experience and/or Legal Certificate/Diploma an advantage.

  • Own transport essential
