The role of the F&T IT Senior Analyst Programmer is an integral one in the delivery of quality, fit for purpose solutions, developed on the Finance & Treasury Systems, within agreed deadlines, and to the required quality standards, in order to meet the business requirements of internal customers of Permanent TSB Bank IT. Responsibilities:
Complete development assignments such that programs support the business requirements and follow the agreed upon Technical Design.
Complete Production Support activities, including issue investigation and resolution, to ensure Applications are stable, available and performing to agree Service Level Agreements.
Have an ability to participate in Development phases of small to large Projects, often complex in nature and meet Project deadlines.
Support Analysis of business requirements from a technical point of view and provide input into the technical direction of the Project, that best support•s the business requirements and overall IT architecture and strategy.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years development experience with: Database: SQL Server development (database management, SQL development)
Development Languages/Tools - VB.net, VBA, XML, SubVersion/GIT, Windows Scripting.
Agile and Traditional/Waterfall Software development lifecycle, procedures and standards.
Working knowledge of system development / architectural / technology frameworks.
Excellent communication skills - effective verbal and written communication skills of both technical and business nature.
High levels of dependability, flexibility, enthusiasm, commitment, supportiveness, involvement, openness and clarity.
