
IT Support Graduate Position Job Summary Provide technical hardware and software support to clients in a growing Managed Service Provider environment. This is a hands-on role, where accredited training is provided, and the ability to specialise will be encouraged. This is a possible opportunity for the right candidate or recent graduate. We are a WFH friendly company, after probation if workload permits.
Provide technical support to local and remote clients
Deploy laptops and desktops, to agreed client requirements
Troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11 laptops & desktops
Upgrade and maintenance of laptop and desktop hardware
Management of incoming support requests through our Service Automation tool
Ensure tickets are responded to in accordance with SLA's, and all information to be recorded in the ticket
Office 365 roll outs and management
Backups and DR testing and implementation
Job Type / Category This is a permanent full-time role, based in a medium sized MSP environment. We are a team of dedicated professionals who strive to exceed the client’s expectations. As the company grows, so will the opportunity for the right candidate. Base hours are from 8:30 to 5, Monday to Friday. There will be a 6-month probation period. Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
IT Based Cert or Diploma
Customer focused approach to Service Delivery
Previous desktop support experience, while is desirable, it’s not a strict requirement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent command of English language
Adaptability to Change
Strong troubleshooting skills (systematic, logical and lateral thinking approach to issues)
Any candidate with experience of the following will be considered
Experience with: Windows 10, Windows 11, Mobile Devices, Networking
Active Directory & Office 365 administration
Office 365 (setup, support)
Azure
Experience with backup software
PC hardware (image, support, troubleshooting & basic upgrades)
Compensation
€25,000 starting (depending on qualifications and experience, for the right candidate)
5% matched pension scheme on completion of probationary period
Income Protection (75% salary after 13 weeks absence), after probationary period
Death-in-Service benefit from start date
A Pluralsight account will be provided, along with recommended skill and role training plans
Additional training may be required as technology keeps evolving, paid for by company.
