To admit all patients via Emergency Department, Out Patients, Elective Admissions and transfers from other hospitals. To liaise with Patient Flow who will provide beds for pre-planned and emergency admissions. To collect in real time and validate all demographic, eligibility and insurance details on every patient admitted to the hospital and ensure that all patients with health insurance are updated on the claimsure system or scanned onto the claimsure system. To ensure that all health record case notes are made available, updated, maintained and sent to the wards with patients as they are admitted. To ensure that information relating to inter ward/inter consultant transfers are updated on the Hospital Computer System and reflected on the health record case notes.
