General Operative/Forklift Driver: Enva is a leading provider of and resource recovery solutions. Enva operates across 34 facilities in the United Kingdom and Ireland, employing over 1600 people. We manage a broad range of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials from industrial, commercial and municipal customers and create valuable products for re-use in manufacturing and energy conversion. We deploy this dedicated network of facilities and trusted partners to support our customers in dealing with the full range of their waste management and resource recovery challenges. This is a general operative role and as such you will be asked to complete a variety of work in line with business needs. General Duties:
Loading and unloading trucks
Preparing material for export
Weighing and sorting materials in the warehouse
Use light hand tools in line with operations
To conduct your duties in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the company’s waste licence
To carry out house keeping duties to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
To be flexible to carry out other duties as may be requested by your manager including over time
Hours of work 7am-4pm pending company requirements.
Licences/ Skills/ Experience required:
Forklift licence and experience essential
Ability to work on own initiative
Good communication skills.
