FoodCloud: Bookkeeper (Part Time)

About the Job This role will report to the Accountant and work closely with the finance team to contribute to the daily operations of the finance team in order to support FoodCloud to reach their strategic goals and governance obligations. This role is also an opportunity to learn new skills and grow with the organisation. Key Duties

  • We use Sage50, but experience with any general ledger system is helpful.

  • Accounts receivable. Issue monthly membership invoices, review aged debt and perform some credit control duties.

  • Exposure to various accounting tasks such as bank reconciliation, journal entries and accounts payable.

  • Assist with in-house reporting duties such as vouching and payment of expenses.

  • Set up monthly direct debits and upload bank files.

  • Additional duties, as required per business needs.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with Sage 50 or similar general ledger system

  • Microsoft Office Suite: Excel skills are necessary for this job.

  • We also use several Google Apps including Gmail, Sheets and Slides

  • We interact with several other apps used by other teams, so a basic understanding of exporting, importing and reading data would be helpful.

  • Must have a very kind over-the-phone persona for dealing with customers.

  • Must be self-motivated and willing to manage your time.

  • Must be a team player, cooperative and willing to assist the team periodically.


  • The role is a part-time (20-25 hours per week), indefinite term contract and will be based in our Tallaght Head Office. We can also offer flexible working arrangements, such as working from home, in line with role requirements.

  • Salary: DOE
