
Contract: Part Time, 1 Year Fixed Term Contract Location: 53 Mount Joy Street To provide an efficient and professional front line service to customers to carry out administrative duties for the service. What you will do:
To carry out administration of schemes provided by the organisation to Focus Ireland customers.
To run clinics with customers in the Family Centre to support the distribution of relevant schemes.
To use the Focus Ireland database, the DRHE PASS system and Microsoft suite for recordkeeping.
To liaise with external bodies administering schemes, submitting and receiving applications.
To work with various Focus Ireland teams in coordinating and processing applications.
To work in close liaison and co-operation with other Focus Ireland services.
To work under the supervision of the Manager.
Attend team, section, divisional and agency meetings as required.
To undertake any other responsibilities and duties as may reasonably be assigned by your Manager or Divisional Head.
What you will need :
Previous experience in a similar role
Excellent organisation skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook, particularly in excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team which shares a common goal.
Ability to use initiative and seek direction when appropriate
Ability to anticipate problems and generate solutions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with Focus Ireland staff and customers.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and meet targets
Ability to multi-task and prioritise competing demands
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on attention to detail.
Maintain multiple relationships with consistency and a high degree of customer care.
A general knowledge or experience of working within an NGO or the homeless sector.
