We’re an IT intensive business, and we operate a state-of-the-art, specialised business-critical systems, 24/7. The critical nature of the work we do, and the experience it offers, provides an exciting opportunity for IT Graduates to join our Graduate Development Programme which is aimed at new and recently qualified graduates an IT related discipline. As a successful graduate, you will join the two year EirGrid Group Graduate Development Programme which begins in September 2023. The Programme offers structured rotations (typically 3 rotations), challenging assignments and exposure to different aspects of our business. Throughout the Programme, you will be provided with real responsibilities and a range of activities to ensure their knowledge of our business and their technical skills and experience are developed. You will be involved in all aspects of our business to grow your knowledge and skills in all aspects of this dynamic sector including technical planning and operational, commercial, project management, regulatory, analytical, financial, research and electricity market activities. You will demonstrate a 2:1 capability in Computer Science, Information Technology or an IT related discipline. You will also have strong analysis, judgement and problem solving skills. Most importantly, you need strong interpersonal and team working skills. You also need strong communication skills and have an awareness of customer and stakeholder needs and expectations.
