Customer Operations Team Members Position Description This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in a dynamic and customer focused team at a very interesting time in the commercial evolution of the Electric Ireland successful candidates will gain valuable experience of our Billing and Database processes serving all Electric Ireland electricity & gas customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Billing of customer accounts ensuring accurate and timely issue of invoices to customers.

  • Support in the delivery of Team KPI's, providing reporting, analysis as required.

  • Managing the registration of customer accounts in Electric Ireland database.

  • Maintaining the integrity of the customer database.

  • Work with team to identify and implement Continuous Customer Improvement business process driving ongoing process efficiency & customer service improvement

  • Provide excellence in customer service delivery, supporting the prompt resolution of customer queries and complaints

  • Support key business projects.

  • Participation in user assistance testing for systems updates e.g. price changes as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential

  • A high level of commitment and flexibility.

  • Proven ability to work as part of a team.

  • Good organisational and planning skills.

  • Ability to work to deadlines in a busy office environment.

  • Experience in MS Office packages in particular Excel.


  • A proven track record in delivery of excellent customer service

  • Proficiency in the use of SAP or equivalent.

Qualifications Essential

  • Mininun of 1 year work experience in the energy, financial, or other business sector where above knowledge and experience has been gained.


  • Third level qualification in either Business, Finance or IT.

Location Electric Ireland, Swift Square, Santry in line with ESB's smart working arrangements. The successful candidate may combine remote / smart working within the jurisdiction, with attendance at base for in-person collaboration, the frequency of which is agreed with the manager and subject to ongoing review.
