Crosscare: HR Administrator


Position Title: HR Administrator The Employer: Crosscare is the social care agency of the Dublin Diocese and is a registered charity. Crosscare delivers services with a servant leadership ethos. Crosscare’s Homeless, Youth, Information and Advocacy Teams support those most in need with Love, Respect and Excellence. Location: Dublin City Centre/Hybrid Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 35 hours Contract: Permanent Salary: €27,000 – €30,750 depending on experience Reporting to: HR Senior Manager The Role: To assist and provide support to the Human Resources Department in a busy NGO. Training will be provided with ongoing supervision General Responsibilities: Provide HR administration support to the HR team across the following areas:

  • Recruitment: Ensuring all roles are updated with status changes and responses in the Hire system, scheduling interviews, supporting managers with interview packs, filing interview notes

  • Pre-employment checks for candidates: reference checks, Garda Vetting checks and verification of qualifications. Monitoring all PEC’s to completion

  • Onboarding: Initiating contracts and change letters, sending out policies and onboarding information to new joiners

  • Assisting HR Officer, Compensation & Benefits, with general staff queries on leave, letters and references for former staff

  • Actively engage in Supervision

  • Work in line with the policies and procedures of Crosscare

  • Be an advocate for HR best practice within the organization

  • Maintain Crosscare confidentiality at all times

  • Any other duties as required

Essential Requirements:

  • HR/related qualification (Certificate /Diploma in HRM)

  • Good IT /Office Skills essential

  • Good writing skills (draft letters, job advertisements etc.)

  • Attention to Detail essential

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and professionalism

  • Good interpersonal and communications skills

  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels

  • High levels of personal motivation & initiative.

  • Good organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects
