Our aim is to provide immediate support in the short term and connect people to resources that will help them into the future. About the role Community Creations is seeking to appoint a full-time Office Administrator for a fixed-term contract to join our team and support our daily office procedures. The successful candidate will act as the point of contact for all employees, providing administrative support and managing their queries. They will undertake administrative tasks, maintain the integrity and performance of company databases, responsible for quality file and record management systems. Key Duties & Responsibilities: The Office Administrator’s duties and responsibilities include:

  • Email management of shared accounts, liaising with members of the public

  • Administration of the Garda Vetting Process for all relevant staff and volunteers

  • Support scheduling and bookkeeping procedures

  • Maintain files and record management system in line with relevant procedures

  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data

  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary

  • Managing the maintenance of office and facility equipment

  • Prepare and complete merchandise orders for nationwide delivery

  • Provide administrative support to other departments or projects as needed

  • Carrying out any other duties as may from time to time be required by Management

Skills and Attributes: Who am I? Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an administrator, office assistant, or relevant role is essential

  • PLC in office administration or relevant field is desirable

  • Relevant experience of the non-for-profit, mental health, social services or youth work sectors is an advantage

Communications Skills

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and spoken English

Technical Experience:

  • Solid administrative skills with an eye for detail

  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles

  • Proficient working knowledge of Google Suite

  • An ability to adapt to new software solutions quickly

Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a self-starter with strong organisational and prioritisation skills
