We provide a range of support services to people with an intellectual disability in various locations and our core values are person-centredness, community inclusion and active participation with a strong emphasis on quality. We are now recruiting to fill the following post: Clerical Officer Grade IV Full-time, 35 hours per week Permanent Contract Reporting to Grade V We are looking for an experienced clerical officer to join our Administration team supporting the Multidisciplinary Team and Operations. The appointees will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational and administration skills. The successful applicant will have a proven record of success and will have responsibility for the following:
Provide administrative support to the Multidisciplinary Team and the Operations Team
Ensure the efficient day-to-day administration of area of responsibility
Manage and prioritise own workload and work within service needs and to deadlines
Data and file management
Organise and attend meetings as required. Support the preparation and issuing of office documentation prior to and at meetings and prepare for timely circulation following the meeting
Data input using National Incident Management System (NIMs), The National Ability Supports System (NASS) and Innovacare
Provide cross/relief cover for other administration staff as required
To undertake other administrative duties or projects across the organisation as required by the Cheeverstown; training will be provided
Essential Criteria:
A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a similar administrative role
Possess a proficiency in Microsoft Office (to include Word, Excel, Outlook) along with ability to grasp new concepts quickly
Strong on accuracy and attention to detail with excellent administration, organisational and planning skills
Personable and enthusiastic with a positive “can do” solutions focused approach to work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrate discretion and confidentiality in their work
Desirable but not mandatory:
Experience as a Clerical Officer in the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004
Knowledge of Adult Safeguarding
Knowledge of GDPR regulations
Microsoft Certification in Excel
The salary scale for this position is Clerical Officer Grade IV as per Department of Health Consolidated salary scales.
