Business in the Community Ireland is excited to invite candidates to apply for the position of Part-time Administrative Assistant for the support of the Schools’ Business Partnership in the Education Team in line with the overall organisational objectives of BITCI. Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI) is a non-profit organisation specialising in advice and guidance to leading companies on corporate responsibility and corporate community involvement. We work with hundreds of companies and schools all over Ireland to create mutually beneficial and lasting partnerships. www.bitc.ie The purpose of this role is to develop, deliver and maintain an efficient and professional administration for the BITCI Primary School Programmes. JOB SUMMARY

  • 2 years or more in a similar role with knowledge of Irish education sectors

  • Role is based in Dublin (hybrid role, office base is Dublin 7)

  • Part -Time role 3 days a week

  • Salary Band 6 (€25k-€31k) depending on experience, pro rat to 3 days per week

  • Providing administrative support to Head of Education and the Regional Coordinators,

  • A high level of proficiency in the range of Microsoft Office programmes e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and digital design,

  • Support for the Garda Vetting processes

  • Experience in event administration,

  • Experience managing digital/social media channels

  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal is required.
