Full Job Description

The role: Book-keeper / Administration Assistant - Part Time (20 hours per week) Gear Jewellers are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Administration Assistant to work in our Dublin office. This is a part time role that involves office administration as well as bookkeeping and accounting duties. Responsibilities: · Managing the company’s accounts mailbox, responding to queries in a timely manner, and ensuring all items are fully followed up. · Liaising with sales team on administrative issues. · Cash Receipts and Debtor Reconciliations · Supplier Payments and Creditor Reconciliations · Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations · Preparation and filing of Revenue returns including VAT, PAYE, PRSI, and INTRASTAT. The ideal candidate: · 3 years experience working in a small-medium enterprise (to include bookkeeping and accounting duties). · Excellent administration skills. · Accuracy and strong attention to detail. · Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. · Good communication and IT skills. · Experience with Accounting software and Office software. The role will report directly to the Managing Director and support will be provided by our external Accountants. There may be an opportunity to agree on flexible hours.
