Receptionist - Administrator

Location: Christchurch Square, Dublin 8Contract: Permanent and Part time 21.75 hours per week over 3 days (Mon – Weds)Salary: €14,528 -€22,506 depending on experience. This is the pro-rated salary for 21.75 hours.

Job purpose

To provide reception, telephonist and administration support to Barnardos National Office and services.

Personal attributes

  • Ability to work on own initiative and to consult where appropriate.

  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

  • Awareness of confidentiality and the ability to deal with sensitive queries.

  • The ability to work in collaboration with others.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in terms of tasks and time is essential for this post.

  • Attention to detail and good numerical skills essential

Experience

  • Minimum of two years’ directly relevant experience essential.

  • Ability to use IT systems such as Microsoft Office Suite-Outlook, Word & Excel essential.

  • Receptionist experience a distinct advantage.

Qualifications

  • Junior cycle of achievement or equivalent minimum level of education.
