Iarnród Éireann are seeking applications from suitably qualified colleagues for the position of Administrator, Procurement Department. The key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

  • Collection, analysis and verification of information and data relating to vendor master files, contract/supplier performance and sustainability

  • Assist in development and maintenance of operating procedures and work instructions

  • To play a key role in the development and production of sustainability reports

  • Provide support in respect of initiatives or projects related to the management and improvement of master data and supplier performance management

  • Accurate maintenance of Vendor Master data in SAP in accordance with internal procedures

  • Support the review and assessment (pre and post contract award) of suppliers in accordance with IE’s minimum Quality/Environmental/Sustainability requirements

  • Monitor suppliers’ performance against Service Level Agreements

  • Ensure that the Code of Conduct for Suppliers and Business Partners is completed by all suppliers

Requirements and Skills Essential Requirements

  • Experience with master data in a large company, in particular with vendor data.

  • Good knowledge of SAP MM or similar ERP system and it’s reporting capabilities.

  • The ability to ensure data integrity and conduct data verification check.

  • Good Analytical & numeracy knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages and the ability to produce report by using some reporting tools, e.g. Excel, Access, Power BI and Qlick sense.
