An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration Stores Operative on a three month fixed term contract, reporting to the Administration Services Supervisor. The Administration Stores team is responsible for ordering, administering and delivery across the business of uniforms, cleaning materials, stationery items, staff beverages & corporate gifts throughout Dublin Airport and includes the Dublin Airport mail room. The recent onboarding of new staff across the business has led to a significant increase in the numbers of new uniform fittings and issues along with the ongoing annual uniform issue requirement. This secondment role has arisen to support the Admin Stores team to facilitate additional uniform issues and will require flexibility to work across Admin stores and mail room functions.   • Take personal responsibility, on behalf of the team, for the stores/print/mail functions.

  • Be flexible in carrying out duties beyond assigned tasks in response to service partners’ needs as they arise.

  • Deliver high-quality performance to achieve set targets and specified quality standards and processes.

  • Provide assistance as required in the event of an airport emergency or unplanned event including fire safety marshalling.

  • Ensure compliance with safe systems and methods of work.

  • Ensuring that all stock items are ordered at appropriate times and followed up for delivery.

  • Record and account for all outgoing stock.

  • Arrange delivery of stock items on request.

  • Clear for payment via Oracle, all invoices of stock & nonstock items.

  • Monitor general compliance with fire, health, and safety requirements, ensuring any fire, health and safety issues are immediately reported and addressed.

  • Work in a highly productive, resourceful manner.

  • Take full responsibility for all assigned equipment in terms of uptime, response times, resolution times, and completion rates for planned and corrective work orders.

  • Participate fully in house training.

  • Ensure complete cleanliness of all equipment and areas.

  • Carry out such other tasks and duties as may be assigned from time to time.
